From her iconic debut album Frank to her last album Back to Black Amy Winehouse kept us coming back for more. Her iconic hits as well as her famous repertoire weren’t the only thing that helped us remember how iconic she is. Her memorable signature was her bold eyeliner wing with her subtle makeup look.

Amy Winehouse passed away on July 23, 2011, and had one of the most memorable careers to date.
On her “Frank” album era she had a subtle makeup look that made her music sound very homemade and true to who she was from her hometown. However, her character development began during the sequence of her last album “Back To Black” where she reveals her addiction to a man and her unhealthy relationship with substance abuse. She released a song that if you listen to it; it will send chills down your back because she is talking about her experience with rehab.
In addition, she faced her adversities with love and heartbreak, as well as loyalty and shame. When she released this album her look changed from having her hair down and a subtle makeup look to a more bold-looking appearance. Her hair gained a few inches on the top as well as her fashion sense allowing her to truly express herself.
Her father was one whom she loved to please, and she looked up to him like a best friend and a mentor. When she went through her substance abuse problems, she was brought up with the question of rehab in which her father said that she didn’t need it and that she could handle herself.
She later passed away from alcohol poisoning.
